Single Color


Single color dice are the most common die body style as they are the easiest to mass produce

This style of die can be of three levels of opacity (ability for light to pass through)

OPAQUE
TRANSLUCENT
CLEAR

In terms used in the Dice Database these three terms only refer to the OPAQ column

Most materials from which dice are made ... have examples which are single color opaque

Translucence can be caused either by a clear die being frosted ... or by the makeup of the die itself

Obviously we cannot have translucent (or clear) ... metal (until transparent aluminum is readily available) .. wood ... or foam
