Here are the highlights of the dice added in APRIL 2007

EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

It has been a VERY busy month ... Where should I begin?

On April 5 at 01:05 UDT (April 4 19:05 MDT) I entered the 20000th Die into the dice database

I devoted THIS page to the milestone

Many thanks to Dice & Games in the UK for providing the blank and to Chessex for doing the laser engraving

Part of the collection is now featured in the Big Humboldt Encyclopdia of Dice Games

    Inspired by the addition of this document to the website ...
I have reformatted all of the "Articles and Books Featuring the Collection" as well as the "Articles about Dice"
    pages so that each document page has its own separate page with forward and backward links (vs the old
single huge combined shot of the document)

A large number of spectacular stone dice from a new vendor... OCONEE MINERALS were added this month and
as a result I reformatted the STONE dice theme and categorized the dice by type of stone ... Oconee also
provided some very nifty fiber optic dice (GLASS)

I split the old Plant & Animal theme into two separate themes this month ... PLANT and ANIMAL

The ANIMAL theme is broken down into subthemes:

                ANIMALS (MUNDANE)
                CARTOON CHARACTER ANIMALS
                DRAGONS
                SPIDERS
              UNICORNS AND OTHER FANTASY CREATURES
                ZODIAC
                ZODIAC (CHINESE)

In addtion to OCONEE MINERALS two other brand themes were added this month :

WADDINGTONS ( an old UK game company now owned by HASBRO )
STARBUCKS ( you guessed it ... everyones favorite AM libation )

Earlier this month I was wondering ... What is the distribution ... per year ... of the top producers of dice

Now I know ... Statistics by year by brand

	This is only the second set of 5 dice slot machine dice I have found to date
