AUGUST 2006 HIGHLIGHTS

Here are the highlights of the dice added in AUGUST 2006

EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

The BEAR CUB MACHINE's Smallest die was surpassed as the Worlds Smallest die by THIS JAPANESE die (.3mm)

This month was the most prosperous month to date for the collection ... 1150 dice were added mostly due to the dice acquired at GenCon Indy ... as a result die #19000 was added this month

Added several new MTG (Magic the Gathering) spindowns from WIZARDS OF THE COAST this month

Q-WORKSHOP added the new Skully II line this month

Bulked up the GAMESCIENCE line this month ... You'd think I would have them all after all these years ... but Lou (Zocchi) keeps cranking them out

GALE FORCE NINE added the new Hordes line this month ... and will re-release the BattleTech faction dice soon

DICE OF PARTICULAR NOTE

CHESSEX released about 300 new dice this month at GenCon Indy here are several noteworthy ones:

	The Dungeoneer II is quite impressive
	These dice remind me of the Q-Workshop Chip dice ... although not as detailed

A handful of dice from CRYSTAL CASTE are of note this month:

	An Amber D20
	And the smallest D20 in the collection made of meteorite no less !!
	added several new Dwarven Stone prototypes this month ... I think this Red Malachite is the best
	this is the GenCon Commemorative Tin for this year

In addtion to the Skully II line Q-WORKSHOP added these dice

	The The Dice Maniacs' Club dice
	These are a new twist on the Nuke D4's

Picked up these 2 sets from WHITE WOLF:

	Promethian Dice
	World of Darkness Dice

	This is the new Dreamblade die from WIZARDS OF THE COAST

	I need help Id'ing these dice ... I have at least figured out they are Klingon and Elven
