AUGUST 2012 HIGHLIGHTS

EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

This month was the second biggest for the collection second only to August 2006

A large part of this is due to the 414 dice acquired at Gen Con Indy

The 39000th die was added this month and it is very likely the 40000th will be added in September

Released some truly neat neon color dice at Gen Con Indy

The also released some more of their 'jelly' dice

and most amazing was their Spherical Dual d4 and D8's

They also released some new Steampunk dice including Glow in the Dark and Metal

Unrelated to Gen Con .. I found a company EAI Education who had some really cool vinyl dice .. as well as a few others

To wrap up Gen Con these are some other dice of note (notice there is a zombie trend again this year)

D-Day Dice were finally released

	Finally got a set of the Hermes Dice (long time goal)
Acquired a set of the Tri-Square dice (another long time goal)
	It seems our fellow collector Frank is divesting himself of some of his dice This is another of those divination D32's
Chord Dice for those of you who are musically inclined I have a tin ear ... or is that a D10 ear :)
	These kind of surprised me as Windmill has been out of business for decades and to find two sets still in package ... in one month ... is amasing

	Any idea what this is? It is a D5 ... numbered 1-5 (4 times) with the 5's circled
