Here are the highlights of the dice added in AUGUST 2014

EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

The planets must have been in conjunction this month ...
or somewhere there was a 'perfect storm' and the opposite effect was felt

August 2014 was the best month to date (+1440) ... it surpasses August 2006 (+1142)

August has traditionally been the best month for collecting ...
for the most part due to Gen Con Indy

August (8257 dice) is now almost double the count of the nearest next month ...
July at 4599 dice

The inflow of dice made the addition of the 50000th die almost a non-event

There were a LOT of new Dwarven Stones this month As well as the Gen Con Indy 2014 die

I did not give MDG a fair chance at Gen Con as I pointed out that their metal dice were using the same mold that was funded by the Kickstarter for which I was an investor Now that I have had time to think about it ... it really was not their fault ... unless they purchased the Chinese made dice knowing that the mold was funded and made for FBG These dice are very nice .. They have the same look and hand feel as some of the older

I was able to get ahold of the hipster dice ... including the Gen Con exclusive one ... I did not win any of the large 'illuminati' dice for which a drawing was held

This is a prototype (I hope) Rocket Die from the Kickstarter managed by Game Salute

		I had never known that had made opaque dice

These Doctor Who Pandorica Yahtzee dice were a SDCC Exclusive ... so you better be quick on ebay if you wish a set
