DECEMBER 2010 HIGHLIGHTS

Here are the highlights of the dice added in DECEMBER 2010

EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE

The big thing of note (at least for me) that occurred this month is that with the acquistion of the 'Mrs Norris' die the HARRY POTTER DICERS collection (36) is finally finished ... it took nearly 5 years to do this

Fellow collector Frank Apollo divested himself of a good bit of his collecton this month
He is going to focus on collecting a 'niche' of dice .. so he is not quitting the hobby

Over the past few months ... I have been experimenting with dying

HERE are the results

This month closes another calendar year of dice collecting

Here are some conclusions that can be made from this years stats

*

was the top producer with 514 new dice
they also could be called the 'rookie of the year' as I discovered them
in February 2010 ... and they went from the bottom to #7 of all time

* 2010 was the most prosperous year to date with 3826 dice added

Here's hoping that 2011 will be even more prolific for dice collectors world wide

HERE IS THE REST OF MCTRIVIA's 'FRAMELESS' SERIES (SO FAR)

	MCTRIVIA IS ALSO WORKING ON A 'BINARY' SERIES

ANOTHER FROM MCTRIVIA IS THIS 'PERSONALIZED' D6 ... WHICH I WAS FLATTERED TO FIND .. WAS DESIGNED USING MY INITIALS ... BUT CAN USE ANY 2 CHARACTERS DESIRED

	SW ARTIST DIZINGOFF IS WORKING HIS WAY THROUGH THE STANDARD (AND NON STANDARD) DICE DENOMINATIONS WITH HIS 'PARACHUTE' SERIES

I AM VERY SURPRISED THAT NOONE HAD EVER TRIED THIS SHAPE FOR A D6 (STELLA OCTANGULA) UNTIL SW ARTIST FRIZ

	DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHERE/WHAT THIS DIE IS FROM?

WHEN I SAW THESE ... I THOUGHT OF MY FRIENDS THE 'LITTLE POLISH ELVES'

		THIS IS A NEW COLOR OF BO-JO DICE ... THAT I HAVE YET TO SEE
