Here are the highlights of the dice added in JANUARY 2022



EVENTS OF PARTICULAR NOTE


 
First and foremost I need to thank two ladies for the help provided this month ....

* Lura Dunn decided to end her time in the dice collecting world by donating her collection
    (likely older than mine) to my niece ... in addition she allowed me to look through the collection
    and add any dice that I needed ... to this collection

* Erika Stokes exercised her PHP skills to add links ..
     FROM the column headers of the dice database search
     TO entries in the newly created
 

 
Next .. It was pointed out that there are terms in the dice database search that were not clear ...
     or even not understandable at all

     As such ... I created the so that I could explain terms that were unclear ...
     this evolved from a glossary ... to more of an encyclopedia of dice and dice collector terms

Die number 108,000 was added this month
 

 
Finally ...
     Due to the Lura Dunn donation ... I realized that the casino dice were scattered over several containers ...
     which makes it hard to view them all as a collection ... This prompted the creation of a new theme ...



     Much like occurred with her earlier donation in June 2021 which prompted the creation of this theme ...

the d4 from this set is what I consider
the most dangerous die to date

If you look close ... the Stargate
embellishment makes the die barbed
on top of the fact that it is metal
and already very sharp
